Any experienced adventurer can tell you where to aim and how hard to hit it, which is why the moment that bright flash had appeared and an icy chilled wind blew hard out of nowhere was when the first golem that was closing in immediately fell down to pieces.
Well, large crystal chunk pieces, but it was definitely split into different body parts so that it's not going anywhere at all even if it was still 'alive' in a sense. As soon as the light had dimmed out, a somewhat familiar figure stood right in front of Nonbe... only somewhat because there are key differences if she were to take careful notice.

The second was how ruthless the executions were the moment the next golem had approached. With quick jab of his fist at the crystal golem's chest, a layer of ice had formed over his hand and burrowed deep into the golem's chest cavity to strike at the magical source that had kept it's functions active.
And finally, that sneering glare being gazed down at Nonbe's direction when he looked over his shoulder at her direction. A look of defiance and hostility that practically said 'How DARE you bring me here.' That is until he focuses his attention back at the true threat approaching them. ]
