"Yes. I did." It was stated in a manner of fact tone from the king now standing in his undergarments. "I came, I conquered, and I grew new fruits from my labor by using the bones of those who opposed me from the old kingdom. Anyone who attacked me knew what they were getting themselves into..."
A small amused hum came from his lips as he gave a small scoff at her words. "But I killed the only person that you cared for... wasn't there a princess you had killed just because you didn't get something your way? Some boy in blue, wasn't it? Seems awfully hypocritical to accuse me of the same sins that you yourself are guilty of, don't you think? But no... this is all about the same princess who is still throwing a fit that she isn't getting what she wants because the big bad king won't spoon feed her the same way her spoiled life did for her before-- only she can't kill or get rid this new threat. Not on her own, at any rate."
And that's when footsteps started to come closer towards her. That light patter of skin against the hard floor echoing across the room until he is a foot away from her. Now crossing his arms in a dignified manner, he lets out a small huff of annoyance. "You are at the bottom of the hierarchy because of my generosity. That your little rebellious nature thinking that a peasant is still a princess that would have gotten others dead just like your beloved, but still having a chance to climb your way back at the top. If you feel so vehemently about where you are and how you are treated, work your way back up top."
He then motions to his form and figure before at her own. "I've given you many chances before on how to do so, but it seems you are more content complaining about your misfortune than actually accepting it. If you keep wasting those opportunities, then I may truly end up replacing you in the end for a different fancy. For good."
