Fate/Call Me Out Post 2020
1.) This is mainly a CMO post for my Fate characters and maybe Sacchin if you want to count her. But that's it. Just reply to whatever character you want to thread with.
2.) Gen, fluff, smut, whatever, its all fair game here. Just tag your threads at the header if we are going into heavy topics. Alternatively, just stick to your own thread.
3.) Feel free to make up new threads if the current one is a drag to continue. No fuss from me.
4.) We're here to have fun. Leave the drama, if any, elsewhere. Otherwise hit me up at my PMs, discord, or plurk if you want to talk privately.

But at her request to spare those who are attempting to harm her did put a furrow on their brow, but in the end does give her a wordless nod as chains begin to burrow into the ground.
Within moments, the angry mob are soon met with a literal wall of chains blocking sight and providing enough cover for the two bursting from the ground. ]
Then we need to leave. This should delay them until may make some proper distance. Lets see... the closest woodland area should be fit for a place to hide and recover. Can you walk?

[ A lot just happened in the span of a few seconds, but Cardia has had the pleasure (?) of being at the mercy of a bunch of capricious people, so in comparison to firing one of their own comrades out of a cannon to take out an airship and hijacking a train and adopting a vampire child...
This isn't too alarming. Not as alarming as it could be, and Cardia firms up her mouth, making a break for it into the woods with this stranger as her free hand swipes at the blood at her temple. She can't bleed so freely or she'll leave a trail behind, which would just kind of defeat the purpose. ]

Yet even if they were safe enough that the mansion was far enough away to be barely seen and the light of torches just specks in the distance, Enkidu did not stop a beat. They were determined to either get to the heart of the forest or to the other side. But at this far from the mob, its safe to assume their makeshift wall was too far for them to keep up. ]
We should be safe with just a little more steps from here. Humans are like beasts, they hunt and prowl as far as they can go but only so far before they give up.
Are you well enough to keep moving or shall I carry you instead?

... That's new.
At her companion's question, though, Cardia shakes her head. ]
I'm fine. [ She didn't have a heart, so stamina wasn't an issue, and... ]
You shouldn't touch me, anyway.

[ To them, that had to be some subtle hint to let her go, so Enkidu does release Cardia's hand from theirs. But that now means that they can use their full body to use to assist them in progressing onward.
In this case, using the dirt and mud on the ground to start taking shape of a small hole gradually growing larger. ]
I will be speaking with any animal nearby to see how much further we need to go. At the very least, i can make us a burrow for you to hide in to cover your scent and trail.
... I can't help but wonder what spurned them to take action like this, however. Did you make enemies amongst humans?

[ Just. Saying.
But she hesitates for a moment, before her shoulders slump, even as she keeps moving. ]
They think... I'm responsible for things like illness and crops dying in their village. It's true that one of their own died because of me, but I...
[ She'd never wanted to hurt anyone. ]

[ Enkidu does listen intently at her explanation, taking in what she is saying and piecing things together. There was a rumor of a Hassan that was renown for her poisonous touch as well... but actually bringing in plagues? Thats looking for a scapegoat. To which they just clicked their tongue in annoyance. ]
To place the blame upon those whom were unwitting or unable to avoid doing so. Are the gods absent from this world that their curses and whims are now forgotten? How troublesome. But listen...
[ And to emphasize this next point, a hand will be placed on her earlier wound. Mostly to experiment for Enkidu's own sake, but to show her as well. Yes, her poison had effected them to the point of Enkidu's limb starting to corrode, but the poison and mud that formed from their hand dissolves into clay and falls onto the ground... only to be replaced with a whole new arm shortly after! Good as new! ]
A man whom I call a dear friend has told and shown me that there are ways we can live. If you wish to die, then that's your choice... but to live? That is the one that is rewarding. So, as one non-human to another... live.
Live long enough for you to die with no regrets. If you need a guide to follow, strength to move, or even a place to lie... then I shall help you.

But then one hand reaches out to brush against that injury, and Cardia jerks back with a gasp, panic and alarm entering her eyes as she watches that limb instantly melt and dissolve and--
... Grow. For that matter, for as much as they seem to be flesh and blood, that had been clay, hadn't it?
It takes her a minute to reply, as bewildered as she is, but... ]
You make it sound so easy... but I...
I wanted to learn more. I wanted to feel someone's warmth and have adventures and laugh and live... I just don't know if I deserve that kind of thing.

I am no King of Heroes, nor am I the Gods that plague us with our fates. But if that is your desire, then do not look for permission from those whom are ready to cast you down.
[ And that newly grown hand will reach out to be placed on her shoulder. In comfort as much as a weapon can give. ]
If that is what you want, then that is what you get. You need to have the drive for it and seek it out. And if you need a companion to achieve that then I, Enkidu, shall be your companion... listen, the sounds of those men are fading. It seems that they have chosen to give up. Now is the time to carry out the dreams that you wish for and leave this place behind to start anew.

[ So she has a name to refer to them by, now. Not one she recognizes, but she hadn't expected to; Cardia can count all of the people she knows by name on her two hands and no further.
But she tilts her head, listening-- and indeed, the sounds of angry yelling and the crackle of flames are all starting to recede. It doesn't look like they'll be pursued any further, and Cardia tentatively rests one gloved hand over the one on her shoulder. ]
You're... you're right. We should go.

[ After waiting for a short moment one more time to ensure all sound of their pursuers are nonexistent, the hand that rested on her shoulder turns to hold the gloved one covering their's.
With a nonverbal motion of Enkidu's head again for Cardia to follow them, the mud creature resumes their guidance of a safe haven. ]
I apologize for being forceful about this... but I could not ignore it. A weapon generally does not feel anything, but such a display was too infuriating.
Up ahead should be a small spring with a clearing. It should serve as a camping ground for proper rest... I don't know if you're still in shock or not, but if you need any sustenance before our long trip, now would be a good time to inform me.

[ She'd enjoyed learning different tastes during her time spent with Lupin and the others... but food wasn't really a necessity to her, more of a luxury. An act that had made her feel like the human that she thought she was.
But she's not-- Cardia knows that now, and she closes her eyes briefly before she gives her head a shake and follows. ]
And you don't need to apologize. If it hadn't been for you, I would have just let them kill me.
